At Heal Your Paws Bach Flower Therapy
In the 1920s and 1930s by Dr Edward Bach, a well-known bacteriologist, physician and pathologist, recognized a relationship between the emotions and heart disease, autoimmune disorders, cancer, allergies etc. He noticed that the emotions of his patients were contributing to their physical ailment and he deliberately created a natural healing system to help people restore balance and maintain their well-being. He concluded that to experience true health, we need to be in harmony with ourselves in body, mind and spirit. These remedies are an alternative treatment that is used for emotional problems and pain. They’re made out of watered-down extracts from the flowers of wild plants which have a positive effect on emotional and mental imbalances such as fear, anxiety, anger, lack of self-confidence, poor self-image, stress and worrying, sleep problems, nightmares, failure, PTSD, trauma, sadness, guilt, concentration problems, depression.
In today’s times, these problems are not only faced by the humans but our pets also. This therapy is a safe and 100% natural ways of curing the psychological and emotional issues faced by our Furry friends.
Dr Bach’s system contains 38 remedies that each address a specific negative emotion. The emotions are grouped into seven broad psychological causes of illness:
Sadness or despair
Oversensitivity to influences and ideas
Loneliness
Lack of interest in present circumstances
Uncertainty
Anxiety
Trauma
Fear
Originally the Bach Flower System was used for treatment of humans. But for the last 25 years there is an increasing in the use of this treatment for animals.
